The town attracts many tourists because of its central location, its castle and its countless nice boutiques, creperies and restaurants. From here you can quickly reach the popular fishing and bathing resorts of the Pays Bigouden: Loctudy, Lesconil, Le Guilvinec and Penmarch with its huge natural beach, La Torche, which is also known as one of the best surfing spots in France.

Activities nearby: The Pays Bigouden is known for its traditions - the last Breton women still live here, and they go out every day with their lace bonnets - festivals and celebrations, important fishing ports and beautiful sandy beaches. The 15 km long sandy beach of La Torche offers some of the best surfing in France. Also number one in France, Loctudy and the surrounding fishing villages for their fresh fish and delicious seafood, including the incomparable langoustines. Recommended excursions in the region: the historic town of Quimper, the famous seaside resort of Bénodet, accessible by a large bridge with fantastic views of the surrounding coastal landscape, and the Bay of Audierne with the impressive Pointe du Raz, the most westerly point in France. The port town of Concarneau with its fortress built into the sea, the Ville Close, is also worth a visit.
